About me

Hi — I’m Alon, a deep learning research scientist living in NYC.


My interests reside at the intersection of machine learning research and production. The ML literature produces a constant stream of ideas. From these, I work on distilling and applying practical concepts in scalable ways in order to build robust products.

I’ve done commercial and academic work in computer vision, NBA analytics, and algorithmic biblical studies. I currently work on computer vision for ultrasound at Butterfly Network.


I use this blog as a space to share thoughts, techniques, and research that I encounter during the course of my work. I hope it will be helpful to other practictioners.
